tdc's history
the development centre was established in 2002 by four fully qualified British ski coaches, to provide quality ski coaching for the British market.
The four original coaches - Colin, Giles, Paul and Phil - had all previously worked with each other at Evolution 2 ski school. After we started in 2002 we managed to lure Dougie and Josh across from Courchevel to join our team in 2003. Since then we have kept slowly expanding. Now in 2007/08 we are delighted to announce the development centre, tignes.
Since the beginning the concept behind the development centre has been a fantastic success. We are pleased to say that the ideals that our original philosophy and ideals are still strongly implemented today and form the basis of all our work.
the development centre also caught the eye of the media. Our ideas, concepts and delivery has been widely written about in newspapers and magazines, and has even brought us a couple of TV appearances, on the BBC's Holiday Program and just recently Channel 4's World Cup Skiing programme.
We have featured in The Times, The Sunday Times, The Telegraph, The Observer, The Independent, The Financial Times, The Daily Mail and in Ski and Board Magazine, The Daily Mail Ski and Snowboard Magazine, Fall-line Magazine and Conde Naste Traveller to mention just a few.
