Our popular clinic format is perfectly suited to skiing Tignes’ world famous off-piste terrain.
Explore the extensive terrain with an off-piste ski lesson in Tignes. With a maximum group size of six, our clinics move quickly and safely, getting more turns and more coaching input, than traditional off piste lessons.
Coaching Focus
TDCSki’s off-piste courses focus on teaching you how to ski whatever off-piste conditions we find. Tignes’ varied and extensive off-piste terrain means there’s always somewhere great to ski, but off-piste skiing often requires an adaptable approach to technique, tactics, and even your head-game. Your TDCSkI coach will teach you the best approach to any given off-piste condition, on any given day.
Safety First
All of our TDCSki coaches are fully qualified to go off-piste and have years of experience in the Tignes off-piste, we will take you to places where you can safely enjoy the best snow on the mountain.
TDCSki provide all necessary off piste safety equipment, avalanche transceiver and pack with shovel and probe. As standard practice, our off-piste courses include teaching you how to ski safely in a group and how to use the safety equipment.

For stong red run skiers....
Try off piste skiing for the first time. With modern skis and some good coaching, off piste can be enjoyed by everyone. Experience some of Tignes’ fantastic low level, easy access off-piste skiing.
Our introductory off-piste course is suitable for Development Clinic level skiers. If you’re a confident red run skier and above, you’re trying off-piste skiing for the first time, or are learning the basics of off-piste skiing, then this is the course for you.

For strong black run skiers...
If you’ve skied off-piste before then it’s time to explore more of the famous Tignes backcountry, whilst improving your technique. Develop your tactics and technique to help master the varied snow and terrain Tignes has to offer.
The Off-Piste Adventure course is ideal for experienced off piste and Challenges Clinic level skiers, confident black run skiers and above.

Heli Skiing from Tignes:
Heliski options include off piste skiing, a helicopter ride, and a TDC coach.
There are a number of routes available including:
- Tignes - Italy
- Val d’Isere to Bonneval sur Arc
- Val d’Isere to the Lac de Chevril
There are a number of different Heliski options available, and these may vary depending on conditions and the groups ability. For futher info don’t hesitate to Contact Us.
Backcountry Clinics and Off Piste Adventure Weeks:
Extended 4 Hour Sessions and Week Long Courses
Our Backcountry Clinics run like our normal 3 day clinics but each sesion is 4 hours long allowing us to go further for longer, and if that’s good go again. Whether it’s by lift, skins, boot pack or helicopter the emphasis is on exploring the amazing terrain on our doorstep. Check out our Specials Page for full details.
