Val d'Isere has some of the best Off Piste skiing in Europe
If you have never heard of Val d'Isere before, then you only need to ask and you will discover that Val d'Isere and the Espace Killy ski area has some of the best, the longest, the most varied, and the most accessable off piste sking in Europe and the World.
The Espace Killy ski area is the name given to both Val d'Isere and Tignes. The area is renown for it vast areas of well groomed on pisted runs, and that it just the beginning.
Val d'Isere's vast Off Piste Ski Area
Once you can start to ski further a field, and go into the off piste areas then Val d'Isere really opens up and will show you why it is considered one of the best ski areas in the world.
To make the most of all that the Espace Killy has to offer, then you will need two things. One you will want to get to grips with the technical skills that will open up this vast area for you, and second you will want to be skiing with someone that knows where to go, and how to go there safely.
All TDC instructors are qualified to go Off Piste
All of our instructors are qualified to go off-piste and have years of experience in this area, we will be able to take you safely to places where you can enjoy the best snow on the mountain.
TDC will provide all necessary safety equipment - pack with shovel and probe, transceivers etc. If you wish to know more about this please feel free to contact us.
The size of the group is kept between 3-6 people, ensuring quality coaching and safety for the individual.
Off Piste Clinics, Private Lessons, or week long Courses
TDC has a great range of off piste option to suit all people Off Piste Clinics, 2 days to get an Introduction or go on an Adventure. Off Piste Private Lessons get to ski the powder you are looking for by having a TDC coach for you and your group of friends or family. Or plan your stay in Val d'Isere to coincide with one of TDC's week long Off Piste Adventure Weeks - great value and a lot of fun.
