Clinics what are they?

Our Clinic format is a highly successful and very effective way of getting you to ski better.
In very small groups of like minded people, we can give very personal and specific feedback, and deliver to you the information that you need to improve your skiing performance.

Do this in an environment where you are comfortable and able to learn from others without having to feel like you are standing around, or

being left behind, and success is just around the

next turn.

clinic group

It is our coaches that set us apart!
All our coaches are fully qualified and have years of experience. We are all native english speakers and we have the right to work in France.
We are all fully qualified through the BASI system with the French equivalance. Amongst us there are GB coaches, BASI Trainers, NZSIA examiners

skills clinics

The Skills Clinics are designed to allow an individual to take the general skills that he or she possess and then have the opportunity to discover how to adapt those skills to specific situations.

The clinics on offer by the development centre are graded depending upon what you would like to get out of them. Written below are the clinic descriptions, with a few extra lines in italics to give a better idea of the level of the focus of the specific skills clinics.
The size of the group is kept between 3-6 people, ensuring quality coaching for the individual.

skills clinics (2 days, 3 hours per day, 175 € per person)

bumps introduction : play, attack, take on the moguls
This clinic is aimed at those skiers who are able to ski
most groomed runs but now want to adapt their skills to take on the often feared bumps!

better bumps : take your bump skiing to the next level
This clinic is aimed at those skiers who are able to ski in the bumps but now want to take their skills up a level - faster, straighter and more aggressive!

speed – quality high speed skiing + introduction to racing : fast and fun, see what race training can do for you.
This clinic is aimed at those skiers who are wanting to give ski racing a go.

Our normal clinic times are either 9am - 12noon or 1pm - 4pm, please contact us to find out the exact running times of the clinic of your choice the week that you are in Val d'Isere.

All the clinics are designed to give the participants the best opportunity to improve their performance and enjoyment of our sport. The clinics will have technical, tactical and psychological foci according to the needs and goals of the individuals in the group, whilst ensuring that the most important outcome is enjoyment. The choice of terrain will take advantage of the best conditions available on the mountain at the time.

Too often in our experience have we heard "I would love to get better, and I know there are things for me to learn, but ski school is not for me!"
Well this is exactly where the coaches at the development centre come in. We do not intend to "tell" you what to do over and over.

We are committed to facilitating a full sports coaching environment in which the individual will have the opportunity to improve their understanding and make lasting and rewarding improvements.
