Ski Resort: Val d’Isere
Dougie is from a wee west Fife mining village in Scotland. He started skiing with his high-school and scout group at the age of 12. During this year he made the school race team and a short while later he was an advanced scout ski instructor.
After school he went on to college to study sports coaching and development and quickly progressed through the BASI instructor pathway.
Since 2010 he has been based in Val d’Isere and in 2015 he became a BASI trainer.
Dougie loves to coach all levels and abilities.
Summers are spent in the Val d’Isere valley enjoying its mountain biking and occasionally putting in a shift for hamish and his renovation projects.
